DEADMAU5 TO BE FEATURED IN LAS VEGAS THEATRICAL SHOW

Reports suggest the EDM stage show is being developed for Paris Las Vegas...

Deadmau5 is set to be the subject of a new theatrical show that is currently being developed for French-themed casino hotel Paris Las Vegas, according to reports.

The show is said to be a replacement for the award-winning Jersey Boys, which ended an eight and a half year run at the venue last Sunday (18th September).

Base Entertainment, the production company behind Jersey Boys, are said to be producing the Deadmau5 theatrical show. However, it isn’t clear whether they will be involved with staging it.

Investors in Canada are reportedly being approached for funding, while a senior exec from Caesar’s, the company behind Paris Las Vegas, is reported to have said, “We hope to have a lot of announcements to make shortly.”

It’s been a busy few weeks for Deadmau5, who attacked Texan DJ Erik Fink after he was caught ripping off his cube stage set-up at a party in Austin. That was after he revealed that his as-yet-untitled new album will land in November, whilst speaking in a live stream ahead of his performance at Ultra Bali.

Deadmau5 also premiered an unreleased nine-minute long progressive house track at Ultra Music Festival in Singapore earlier this month, after he returned with his first Coffee Run in 11 months, where he took television personality Adam Savage for a spin in one of his many supercars.
