Deadmau5 Cube 2.1 show suffers technical difficulties

So the mau5trap boss turned his hotel room into impromptu workshop...

Deadmau5 turned his hotel room into an impromptu workshop on Sunday evening to troubleshoot technical issues with his Cube 2.1 live show, after news of problems during his Merriweather Post Pavilion performance on Saturday night.

As EDM in DC reported via Twitter, the set in Columbia, MD, cut out twice; each time in excess of 10 minutes. Explaining the issue was rooted in excessive bass vibrations shaking a cable loose, the fix was relatively easy for the technically-savvy producer.

Deadmau5 replied to EDM in DC’s tweet in good spirits though. He said, “Most people usually sh*t their pants when this happens. We sucked it up and got it workin!”

Last week (6th April), Deadmau5 revealed that he will join Eric Prydz at his Hï Ibiza residency for two exclusive dates on the White Isle this summer.

That was after Deadmau5 pulled an outrageous prank on fans at his NYC show at the Hammerstein Ballroom over the previous weekend (4th April).

Deadmau5 debuted his Cube 2.1 live show on 29th March at the Polaris Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Turned my hotel room into a workshop. Going over the main system and building another backup system ;)
