Deadmau5 has launched a remix competition on Splice, the cloud-based music creation and collaboration platform.

To enter, users of Splice can download the full stems of ‘Let Go’ featuring Grabbitz, taken from his recent full-length release, ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’, in order to remix the track.

The grand prize includes the winning remix being included on a forthcoming mau5trap compilation, VIP tickets and travel to a show on Deadmau5’s ‘lots of shows in a row’ tour and a heap of merch.

Entries started yesterday (Wednesday 1st February) and close on Thursday 2nd March. The winner will be announced on Friday 10th March.

Deadmau5 shared a series of videos that showcase further developments to his Cube 2.1 stage design last month (January), which the Canadian is set to start touring in March.

That was after he promised to release a 20-strong collection of old and new tracks via iTunes this month (February), earlier this year.

You can enter Deadmau5’s remix competition on the Splice website.
