Deadmau5 has shared the video for his collaboration with Mr. Bill, ‘10.8’.
The track first appeared on the Mau5trap compilation 'Mau5ville Level 2', which was released in 2018. Now it has its own impressive CG-animation to accompany the cut, with artists Funilab, Felix Stief and Sneekypops working on the VR tool Quill to provide visuals.
It's a fittingly futuristic clip, considering the next-level technology for both studio productions and live shows we associate with deadmau5, who is about to see his first film soundtrack released this month. 'Polar', the flick in question, comes to Netflix on 25th January, with 'Drama Free' one of the first tracks to be heard, which was also included on 'Mau5ville Level 2'.
Mr. Bill, AKA Bill Day, also has a full-length IDM album, 'Apophenia', and delivered the score to 'Mom and Dad', a Nic Cage horror comedy. Both are available via Mau5trap. Digressions aside, take a look at his joint effort with the label boss below.
