Defected Records is now the shirt sponsor for Dulwich Hamlet F.C.

Defected Records is the new shirt sponsor for South London football team Dulwich Hamlet for the 2022/23 season.

The record label and football team have collaborated on a line of football merchandise, much of it in the London team's pink and navy home strip, as well as on the white and red away one. Defected has also taken up sponsorship of the home ground's main stand in East Dulwich which is now emblazoned with the label's famous slogan "In our house we are equal".

"Our partnership with Dulwich Hamlet is a natural fit for us, with the intrinsic link between music and sport being such a vital part of our everyday culture," said Defected's recently appointed CEO Wez Saunders. "The partnership is a true statement of our ongoing mission to support incredible talent and champion the next generation of football stars."

The kits will be worn by both the football club's men's and women's sides, with Defected affiliate Monki being a player for the latter. Speaking about the link-up between the football team and label, she said: "On the dancefloor and the pitch, there are a lot of similarities. People might think they're worlds apart but they're not.

"It's the moments where you feel perfectly in tune with your teammates, the crowd, fans, and fellow ravers that are special. These spaces have provided me with a community, escapism and more importantly somewhere to express myself."

The football kits, featuring the Defected logo, are now available to purchase via Defected's online store
