Denham Audio, Mantra, Sully, more contribute to fundraising compilation for family of late owner of Tokyo Disc Shop Zero

There are also tracks from Etch, Benny Ill, and Benton

Club Glow — the collective made up of Borai, Denham Audio, LMajor, and Mani Festo — have put together a fundraising compilation for the family of the late owner of Tokyo record store, Disc Shop Zero, Naoki Iijima, who sadly passed away last month after a short illness.

The collective have each contributed a track amongst the 17-track set, while they've also called on a number of friends to contribute music. Amongst those featured are Mantra, Etch, Sully, Benton, Benny Ill, Thugwidow, and West Norwood Cassette Library.

"Naoki was a big supporter of UK culture and music scene, (with a particular soft spot for Bristol) and did a lot to support artists within the UK scene at his events and in his shop," a write-up accompanying the compilation explains. "He welcomed anyone visiting to Japan into his home, introduced them to his family and went above and beyond to accommodate people with such warmth. As someone who has supported Club Glow from the beginning as well as each of us individually, we've pulled together a host of like minded artists who either knew Naoki personally or someone who we knew he'd like and put together a jam packed tape for all of you."

"100% of the profits from the tape will go to Naoki's family and we hope this can help in some way with any cost they may have. so please join us in celebrating the life of a great man."

'Club Glow x Disc Shop Zero - Fundraiser for Naoki' is out digitally and on cassette on March 27th. You can support Naoki and the compilation by purchasing here.

Late last year, Denham Audio featured on a split EP with Violet, released by New York-based label Friendzone.
