Depeche Mode have shared a new video for the track, ‘Wagging Tongue’. Watch it below.

The track comes from the English electronic band’s latest LP, ‘Memento Mori’, released in March via Venusnote. The release marked the group’s first album since the passing of founding member Andy Fletcher last year.

The video was directed by Ed Kaye of London-based filmmakers, the Sacred Egg, with executive production from longtime collaborator, Anton Corbijn. The black and white video follows a young couple partaking in a series of rituals, and features brief appearances from co-founders Dave Gahan and Martin Gore.

To celebrate the album release, the band played lead single ‘Ghosts Again’, along with a rendition of ‘Personal Jesus’, on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’, which you can revisit here. They also released a string of remixes of ‘Ghosts Again’, including edits from Chris Liebing, Luke Slater, Bergsonist, recent DJ Mag interviewee  Miss Grit, and more.

Depeche Mode kicked off a world tour on the back of the album last month, heading across Europe this summer before they return to North America in September. Depeche Mode are partnering with Hublot for the tour to support and raise funds for The Conservation Collective, a UK-based environmental charity. The group will also play arena shows across Europe this summer, and are set to headline Primavera Sound 2023.
