DERRICK MAY’S TRANSMAT MARKS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH FOUR NEW EPS
The Detroit label celebrates a significant milestone with a slew of new music
Transmat will release four new EPs early this year.
Derrick May’s long-running label turns 30 in 2016 and the Detroit producer has lined-up a series of releases to mark the anniversary. Israeli duo Deep’a & Biri, Japanese veteran Hiroshi Watanabe and Karim Sahraoui all have EPs planned on the label. A single from Arizmute, a collaboration between Cesare Marchese and Philippe Quenum, is also due out soon.
