Did Steve Angello just tease new Swedish House Mafia music?

The trio are due to go on tour next year...

Steve Angello has teased a new track, and with a Swedish House Mafia tour on the horizon for 2019, some are speculating that it could be a taste of something new from the trio.

Based on the short clip posted to Instagram by Angello, the track sees the trio moving away from the more overtly big-room and festival-pleasing elements of their past work. It bears some similarities  to Angello’s 'Human' EP, which was released earlier this year. The jury is still out then on whether it is indeed the first new music from the duo since 2012’s 'Greyhound' album.

Angello has already confirmed that the trio are working on new music in the run-up to their series of reunion shows next year. You can check out the 15-second teaser, posted by Angello, for yourself here

With Swedish House Mafia’s 2019 reunion tour currently taking priority, Axwell Λ Ingrosso have put their collaborative project on the back burner for now. Ingrosso has said however that they will be continuing to work on individual material.

Steve Angello confirmed the return of Swedish House Mafia during a gig last month at Ushaïa Ibiza. He also said in August that they would be playing at Tomorrowland 2019 “by any means necessary”.
