DIPLO DROPS FIRST PLAY OF JACK Ü’S FLORENCE WELCH COLLABORATION: LISTEN

The Mad Decent boss played ‘Constellation’ at a show in Minneapolis...

Jack Ü pairing Diplo and Skrillex revealed that they were working on new music with Florence + The Machine singer, Florence Welch, in March via social media.

Now, at a show in Minneapolis over the weekend, Diplo appears to have aired the full track for the first time. You can hear a fan shot video of it below.

Titled ‘Constellation’, the original snippet of the song shared on social media heard Welch sing the lyrics “constellation around your heart, it will be OK”. It is still not known when it will be released.

Jack Ü came in at No. 40 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2016 poll at the awards ceremony at Heineken Music Hall at ADE last week. Before that Skrillex hinted at a hiatus from working as Jack Ü with Diplo after stating that a recent string of European dates would be the collaboration’s last for a “long, long time” in a post on Twitter in August, before promptly deleting the statement.

That was after their debut album under the joint alias was certified gold in June by the RIAA after selling over 568,000 copies.
