Discogs reveals list of top 25 best-selling techno records

Discogs has shared details of the top 25 best-selling records tagged as 'techno' on the site.

While this means some of the list, posted via the Discogs blog, definitely aren't what you'd refer to as techno (Mr. Oizo's 'Flat Bear', for example), the likes of Ben Klock's 2009 effort 'Before One', and Jeff Mills' 'Kat Moda' EP, which features classic track 'The Bells', are included.

The overall best-seller, meanwhile, was Mall Grab's 'Sun Ra' EP at 520 copies, quite a jump from second place — Convextion's '2845' LP — which shifted 355 records.

Earlier this week, Discogs CEO Kevin Lewandowski announced the company will be launching an online equipment marketplace called Gearogs next month.
