DJ Fresh drops 10th anniversary ‘Gold Dust’ remix package: Listen

Bou & Used, Skepsis, Krafty Kuts and more have delivered new versions

DJ Fresh Gold Dust

DJ Fresh has dropped a tenth anniversary 'Gold Dust' remix package, which is out now. You can listen to it below.

The third single to be taken from his second album, 'Kryptonite', the track actually first saw the light of day as a 12" in 2008, before being re-released in 2010 with additional vocals by Jamaican dancehall icon Ce'cile, reaching number 24 in the UK Singles Chart. An alternative version, featuring Ms. Dynamite, also exists, while a Shy FX re-edit dropped in 2012 hit number 22 in Britain's charts and 39 in the Irish Singles Chart.

For 2022, the producer, Bad Company founding member and Breakbeat Kaos label boss — real name Daniel Edward Stein — has lined up a number of big names to deliver new versions of the anthem. These include Manchester producer Bou and Belgian emergent Used, Marten Hørger, Fox Stevenson, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Krafty Kuts, and Skepsis.

Listen to the full release below, then revisit our interview with DJ Fresh in which, two years after taking a break from music, he talks openly about health scares, sobriety, and producing for some of the biggest recording artists on the planet.
