DJ SHADOW DROPS FIRST ESSENTIAL MIX FOR 13 YEARS

Following the release of his fifth album 'The Mountain Will Fall' last month, DJ Shadow has recorded a new BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
According to Tweets from Shadow himself, the two-hour mix – his first for the station since 2003 – was recorded in two parts. The first hour, put together back in April, focuses on "New beats, new ideas. Lots of Cali stuff," whilst the second half features "Music very dear to my heart that is heretofore unknown. Definitely one for the hip-hop fanatics."
