Doepfer introduce new Dark Energy III semi-modular synth

Doepfer have introduced the third version of their popular mini mono Dark Energy. Not content with revolutionising the modular world with their Eurorack format, the German giants haven’t forgotten about their other hardware line. The third version of Dark Energy adds a new triangle waveform, LFO reset input and improves the ADSR envelope.

Doepfer have also added some new hackable features including mod points for VCO, VCF and LFO. The new synth doesn’t have a price yet but is likely to feature at the upcoming NAMM show in California. For other mono options, Arturia have just updated the MiniBrute while Analogue Solutions’ new semi-modular offers similar features.
