DRS and LSB pay tribute to Marcus Intalex with new track, 'Angels Fall'

Proceeds will go to support Intalex's family...

DRS and LSB have released a new track titled 'Angels Fall' in tribute to Manchester drum & bass legend, Marcus Intalex.

Intalex, otherwise known as Marcus Kaye, or by his techno alias Trevino, tragically passed away on Sunday morning (28th May).

A legendary figure in the d&b scene in particular, Kaye produced classic tracks for the likes of Metalheadz, Exit Records and his own Soul:R imprint, where he also released the debut albums of both MC DRS and Essex producer, LSB.

Proceeds from 'Angels Fall' will help support Kaye's mum and girlfriend with funeral arrangements, while any excess funds will be given to charity. Donations can be made via the Soul:R Bandcamp.

Writing via the release page, the label says: "We are still very much mourning the sad and sudden passing of our beloved friend Marcus Kaye, known to many as Marcus Intalex or Trevino.

"Whilst longer term we will be putting our heads together to find a fitting tribute to Marcus’s life and music, for now we would like to share a track from DRS and LSB which seems to reflect our thoughts at this time.

"The track ‘Angels Fall’ is available now to download with an option to make a donation which will help us to support Marcus’s Mum Pat and girlfriend Ayumi in the short term and with funeral arrangements while finances are being arranged. Any excess funds raised will be distributed to causes close to their hearts.

"Thank you for your messages of love and support and your many memories of Marcus which are giving us comfort in this dark time."
