East End Dubs has curated a 21-track charity compilation in aid of the Turkey earthquake appeal.

Released via the DJ's Eastenderz label The release features a host of producers from the house music world, including Djebali, Cristi Cons, Chris Stussy, Priku, Sidney Charles, Thurman and Wheats.

The album has been put together in response to a 7.8 magnitude earthquake which struck southern and central Turkey, and northern and western Syria on 6th February. This was followed hours later by another 7.5 magnitude quake, with aftershocks and smaller tremors continuing in the region for days.

Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) numbers currently estimate the catastrophe has led to 41,000 deaths, and displaced 17million people, with an area of around 280miles affected in Turkey alone.

100% of proceeds from the Turkey Fundraising Compilation will go to AHBAP, a non-governmental organisation based on the ground in Turkey founded by musician and philanthropist Haluk Levent. Funds will be used to support people who have lost family, homes, livelihoods and security in the disaster.

"Now more than ever is a time for unity, solidarity, and to support a nation that has been shaken.” said East End Dubs. “It's crucial for us to use our voice to create widespread awareness of the situation in Turkey and Syria, and to give our support in every way possible.”
