Elena Colombi launches new label, Osáre

The label's first release will come from experimental duo Free Range

Elena Colombi has announced her new label, Osáre.

The NTS resident is set to launch the label, which will feature both new and reissued releases, in September, with a promise of "future-facing music culled from a legacy of forward-thinking experimentation and abandon, imbued with a sense of complete freedom, transcending expectations of time and genre".

The first release on the label is a seven-track album from Free Range, a collaborative project from 2MR affiliate Matt Weiner and Lithuanian experimental producer Ernestas Sadau.

A mixture of drone, ambience and DIY electronics, the first release, entitled 'King Of Snake', will be released on 15th September on both vinyl and digital formats.

'King Of Snake' will be followed by a dive into the archive of Greek leftfield legend Thanasis Zlatano's, spanning from the early '80s to the present day.

Elena Colombi plays this years Berlin Atonal festival.
