Epizode Festival locks in Carl Cox, Marcel Dettmann, Nicole Moudaber, Mathew Johnson, Guti

Vietnam's best party just got better

Epizode Festival has locked in Carl Cox, Marcel Dettmann, Nicole Moudaber, Mathew Johnson, and Guti, in the second wave of acts announced this week.

Triumphantly launched at the begining of this year on the Vietnamese paradise island of Phu Quoc, with the second instalment scheduled for January 2018, by all accounts the lineup is taking the offering up another level. The aforementioned names will join the likes of Luciano, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Dixon, Nic Fanciulli, and Pan-Pot, who were all confirmed earlier in the summer

DJ Mag attended the inaugural Epizode, and invited the founder, Tyoma, to share his top ten tracks from the first edition shortly after it finished. Activity was focussed on a stunning beach on the Gulf of Thailand, packing stellar sound, alien-like installations, and a musical programme that ran almost continuously day and night. For part two, attendees can expect the same beautiful setting, and this time round the party will begin on 31st December 2017 with the last tunes set to be played on 10th January 2018. Most of the crowd will arrive via flights from Ho Chi Minh City on the mainland, with the journey taking around one hour. Just make sure to pack your hat and suncream- this one's going to be hot.
