Gavsborg is launching a new tape label, Cassette Blair, with his own debut album, titled '1 Hour Service'. Listen to lead track 'A Dancing Crustacean At The Bus Station', featuring Toké, below.
Out this Friday, 3rd February, Gavsborg's debut full-length includes 15 tracks and a number of features from the likes of Shanique Marie, The Shiny People, Kat 7, Donai Singleton, Camar, Franklyn “Bubbler” Waul and Everol “Stingwray” Wray, as well as Toké.
The Equiknoxx member's new tape serves as the first entry in Cassette Blair's series of "one-hour showcases" of artists local to the Kingston, Jamaica collective and from abroad.
Last year, Equinknoxx contributed to London label 404 eros' mixtape series dedicated to Notting Hill Carnival's "lost years".
