ERIC PRYDZ DEBUTS NEW TRACK AT CHARITY CONCERT IN MEMORY OF FAN

Eric Prydz shared details earlier this month of a charity show to be held in honour of one of his fans, James Lillo, who passed away recently after a battle with cancer.

The Swedish star originally set up the gigs after Lillo shared on Reddit that he had been diagnosed with stage four cancer and was worried he wouldn’t make it to Prydz’s next EPIC 5.0 event.

Both shows took place at Sound Nightclub in LA over the weekend and raised over $60,000, with all proceeds given to charity research. Prydz also debuted a new track in memory of Lillo, which you can listen to below.

Avery Weisfeld, who had been a friend of Lillo’s since high school, was at the event. Talking about it after, he said, “It was honestly unbelievable, the best experience of my life.

“At one point after we met [Eric], we talked for a bit and he took us down to the stage. He started playing, with me and three friends in the booth, grabbed me and gave me the biggest hug and said ‘this is for James’.”

He went on to describe the event as “exactly as James would have wanted it.”
