Everything But The Girl’s ‘Nothing Left To Lose’ gets Four Tet remix: Listen

Four Tet has remixed Everything But The Girl's 'Nothing Left To Lose', which you can hear below.
The new interpretation is out now, and leads a four-part remix EP of the recent single. An instrumental of the Four Tet version, and fresh takes from Bruno Ellingham and Everything But The Girl's Ben Watt also feature.
The original tune appears on 'Fuse', the first Everything But The Girl LP since 1999's 'Temperamental', which is set to land on 21st April. Another two singles from the record, 'Caution To The Wind' and 'Run A Red Light', have already been unveiled. The duo's full catalogue stretches back to 1982, and includes seminal work such as 'Missing' (memorably remixed in 1994 by Todd Terry), 'Walking Wounded' and 'Wrong'.
"We’ve always loved that meditative but propulsive thing in Kieran's music," Tracy Thorn and Ben Watt of Four Tet's remix in a joint press release. "The restraint mixed with momentum. It is something that we often explore as well, so asking him to rework one of our songs felt like a great fit. There is a confident lightness of touch to his remix, underpinned by a raw killer beat, and a beautiful final third where all the subtle intricacies of his additional production coalesce,"
