Ewan McVicar has announced the first names set to play the 2024 edition of his Pavilion Festival.

The Scottish DJ and producer launched the event last summer, and documented the huge effort involved via a BBC mini-documentary series. The two-dayer will now return to Low Green, Ayr, Scotland on 4th and 5th May 2024.

McVicar will curate day one on Saturday 4th May, when attendees can expect to catch TRICK honcho Patrick Topping on headline duties, UK rave aficionado Special Request, two of Glasgow's most respected selectors, Optimo (Espacio), Super Rhythm Trax boss Jerome Hill, and Sub Club resident Stevie Cox. Tickets are on sale now.

Sunday 5th May, meanwhile, sees decade-spanning STREETrave crew seize the reins, bringing Technotronic, Degrees of Motion, Black Box, Rozalla and Sandy B to the fold, alongside an appearance from Heather Small, the iconic voice of M People. More names are due to be announced for both days in the coming months.

"I'm so proud of this line up and bringing these exceptional talents to Ayr Pavilion. mk2 incoming to our magical site and we have not finished the list either," said McVicar. "I have more names to add that I could only have dreamt about bringing to the Low Green. This year was so, so, so special and next year we are doing everything to make it better."

Tickets for Saturday are available here and Sunday here.

Earlier this summer, McVicar released 'Groove Thang' via Ministry of Sound.
