Ewan McVicar has announced a vintage football kit-themed merch drop.

The Scottish DJ and producer, who recently released an EP via Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, has teamed up with Manchester-based brand Vulfco for the jersey, which has been dubbed THE JUGGERNAUT.

Announcing the drop via Instagram, McVicar said he had previously hesitated from making merch "unless it was special," and was designed with a "passion for good music".

The shirt itself references McVicar's love of rave culture with staple smileys, a badge honouring one of his favourite labels - Unknown To The Unknown — and even nods to a legend of Chicago house. "On the back I wanted to tribute the late great Ron Hardy of Chicago," McVicar said, "by referencing his favourite song ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’ with the number 92 coming from the year we lost one of the greatest DJs ever to do it. Pleasuredome."

The limited edition shirt will be on sale via Vulfco on the 10th May, and you can sign up for updates here.

Ewan McVicar scooped DJ Mag's Best Track award at the Best of British Awards 2021 for his Trick hit, 'Tell Me Something Good'.
