Fabric's Room Two soundsystem sells for £11,700

Half the money will go towards Amanda Moss' cancer treatment...

Fabric has sold its legendary Room Two soundsystem on eBay for £11,700, it has been announced today.

The unnamed new owner beat out 95 other bids to win the auction, with half the proceeds from the sale being donated to Corsica Studio's co-founder Amanda Moss to help her fight against a rare form of ovarian cancer.

The soundsystem has now been replaced by a new Pioneer Pro Audio rig, meaning the old system was surplass to requirements and could be sold off.

The iconic London club decided to put the soundsystem (minus the amps) up for auction via eBay, with half the proceeds going to the Corsica co-founder Amanda Moss, who is trying to raise £100,000 for special cancer treatment in Germany.

At the time of writing the music community has generously donated £51,000 towards her £100,000 goal.

Whoever bought the sound system is now the proud owner of an iconic piece of London's dance music history and also has the ultimate house party rig.
