The tribute was unveiled during the club's last match of the 2022/23 season last weekend

Faithless' Maxi Jazz was honoured by Crystal Palace fans with a banner tribute last weekend.

The hand-painted banner was unveiled in front of the Holmesdale Road Stand of the football club's Selhurst Park ground ahead of its final Premier League game of the 2022/23 season, against Nottingham Forest, last Sunday, 28th May.

Faithless' Sister Bliss was in attendance at the match to see the banner, and the group's hit single 'God Is A DJ' was played over the stadium's sound system as it was unfurled. In a post shared on Twitter, she wrote: “An incredible tribute to Maxi @cpfc today. So moved by the love & care ... thanks to all that made this happen. Not a dry eye in the house!”

The banner was funded and arranged by Crystal Palace's supporters group Holmesdale Fanatics. Maxi Jazz, who passed away in December at the age of 65, was a lifelong fan, and also once an associate director, of the football club.

See videos of the banner being unveiled below.

It comes after a mural depicting Maxi Jazz was also revealed outside Selhurst Park earlier this year.
