Farr Festival adds a new stage and promises increased sound levels

Getting lost in the woods has never been more fun...

Farr Festival has announced the addition of a new stage for this year's festival and is promising louder sound levels across the board thanks to an extended license.

The new stage, dubbed The Factory, is being constructed with 52 shipping containers and will accommodate 2,500 people.

The Factory will also shelter a monumental custom-built L-Acoustics sound system, apex stage, pulsating LED lighting rods plus a video mapping system to truly bring the shock and awe to Farr Festival.

The boutique festival is located in a deserted forest just outside London, in the leafy suburbs of Hertfordshire. With the addition of The Factory stage, the festival now boasts six stages for this summer's edition, all with increased sound levels thanks to an extended license.

Confirmed to play the festival is an eclectic mix of DJs and live acts spanning the entire gamut of electronic music including Todd Terje, Booka Shade, Nao, Floating Points (DJ Set), Mano Le Tough, Omar-S, DJ Tennis, SG Lewis, Red Axes (live), Submotion Orchestra, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Axel Boman, Mr G (live), Helena Hauff, Leon Vynehall, Craig Richards, Young Marco, Jordan Rakei, Honey Dijon, Sadar Bahar, Ivan Smagghe and many more.

Farr Festival is set to take place at Bygrave Woods, Hertfordshire from 13th to 15th July.
