Fatboy Slim announces 25th anniversary reissue

Fatboy Slim has announced the release of a 25th-anniversary reissue of ‘You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby’ via Skint/Astralwerks. Check it out below.

Set for release on National Album Day, 14th October 2023, the album has been remastered at half speed at Abbey Road Studios to improve audio quality.

The reissue will be pressed on double LP gatefold vinyl and will include the original booklet from its first release 25 years ago, as well as a signed album cover print.

First released in 1997, ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby’ became one of the most defining records made by the legendary DJ and producer, containing four UK Top 10 singles including 'Right Here Right Now', 'Rockafeller Skank', 'Gangster Trippin' and 'Praise You', which went to No.1 in the UK.

Earlier this year, a documentary aired exploring his iconic Big Beach Boutiquee II party – a free rave on Brighton Beach that saw 250,000 attendees and was dubbed as the “biggest outdoor party the UK has ever seen.”

He is also set to headline his own All Back to Minehead Festival 2023 later this year, appearing alongside the likes of Jodie Harsh, Marshall Jefferson, Mella Dee, Sally C, Saoirse, and more.

The 25th anniversary edition of ‘You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby’ will be available to purchase from retailers across the UK on 14th October 2023. You can preorder a copy for yourself here.
