Fatboy Slim final tour stop will be at a fan’s house

The “Deliverave” will be in partnership with, and catered by, Deliveroo...

Fatboy Slim will close off his biggest ever UK tour by playing in one lucky fan’s house.

Mr. Norman Cook, who will be embarking on an extensive stadium tour of the UK and Ireland later this month, will make a less than conventional final stop on 7th March by playing in one competition winner’s living room.

The gig, a baffling collaboration with Deliveroo (yes, Deliveroo), promises to be the world’s first ever *ahem* .... “Deliverave”.

The party will, naturally, also be fully catered for by the delivery service. What you’ll be expected to chow down on while watching Fatboy Slim DJ in your house remains to be seen.

“Everyone knows I love to DJ and I also love food,” explains Cook in an official statement. “With the help of Deliveroo I have managed to hit the jackpot because I’ll be delivering both to one lucky person’s house. Warn the neighbours I’m coming."

“We know we can deliver food, but delivering a rave is just out of this world,” said Deliveroo’s Joe Groves. “Fatboy Slim is iconic and we’re upping the food delivery game by partnering with him to allow our customers to eat, sleep, rave, repeat.”

Fair enough so.

From Wednesday 6th February, you’ll be able to enter the online ballot via this website. The winner will be announced on 20th Feb. 10 runners up will also win gig tickets, delivered in Fatboy Slim themed Pizza Boxes.

This time last year, Fatboy Slim’s seminal ‘You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby’ was reissued to mark it’s 20th anniversary. A limited edition “meal deal’ edition of the vinyl reissue also came delivered in a snazzy pizza box. Are you sensing a pattern?
