Fatboy Slim joins Julien Temple's Ibiza documentary

Veteran DJ will take on the role of music director for the project...

Fatboy Slim has signed as music director for Julien Temple's upcoming documentary, Ibiza - The Silent Move.

Otherwise known as Norman Cook, the legendary DJ will curate a selection of his own and other producers' work.

The film is billed as a “compelling audiovisual journey into Ibiza’s bohemian soul”, and will feature both original and never before seen archive footage of the famous party island.

On the new announcement, Temple, whose credits include films on the Sex Pistols and Glastonbury, said: “With the incredible 2,000 year history of this magical island as a subject and the genius of Norman Cook now on board to produce a soundtrack you can dance to, we believe this film will take event media to a whole new level”.

Although a regular face on the Isle, Fatboy Slim only celebrated his second ever Ibiza residency this summer after debuting with Cream last year.

The veteran selector also recently announced a massive headline show at London's Alexandra Palace for February 2018.
