Ferry Corsten launches fan collaboration competition for new UNITY track

Collaborate with the trance legend, in aid of WHO

Ferry Corsten has launched a fan collaboration contest for a new track on his UNITY label.

The trance legend has shared the stems for a new trance track, which anyone can download and play around with. Fans are invited to “create your own version of the song including one part or as many parts as you’d like. It could be just the bass line, it could be your version of the full song,” Corsten explains.

Once you’ve made your version, or section, of the track, you can upload it to Soundcloud and comment under Ferry’s demo with a link and the tag #tranceunity
. Submissions will be reviewed by Corsten and a select panel, who will decide which elements will fit together to make the finished track. Selected submissions will then be invited to work directly with Corsten on the final version of the track.

The criteria for the track are pretty simple: It’s in the key of C minor and it’s at 134 bpm.

Once the track is finished and released on UNITY, with all chosen producers credited, all proceeds will go toward the World Health Organisation.
