Saraab, a new festival in the heart of the Red Sea Mountains, has announced its first wave of acts.

The 3000-capacity festival, set to take place at Il Monte Galala, by Taweer Misrs, is scheduled to take place from Thursday 1st to Saturday 2nd December 2022. Polo & Pan, Maceo Plex, Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough, Bas Tabellini, Terr and Lamache feature on the line-up, as well as Maher Daniel, Gerd Janson, D’Julz, Salomé Le Chat, and William Djoko.

The line-up also features a host of local talent such as Misty, Chiati, Aroussi, DNGR GNGR, and Maie, and will include a marketplace hosting local vendors where attendees can buy art, clothes, vintage pieces and food.

The two–day electronic music festival was created by the events company byGanz Extraordinaire and Astral Element, a group of entrepreneurs in the nightlife and music industry.

In a press release announcing the event, the Saraab festival team said, “When we come together, at the right time for the right reason, anything is achievable. Sound becomes language. Strangers become friends. Time, a mere illusion. Some say it’s all an illusion, we prefer to call it Saraab.”
