Fever Ray, AKA Karin Dreijer, has reunited with former partner in The Knife, Olof Dreijer, for a new single titled 'Kandy'. You can watch the video for the new track below.

Taken from the forthcoming album, 'Radical Romantics', Fever Ray's first LP in seven years, the new track is one of four from the record featuring Karin's brother, Olof.

With 'Kandy' marking the first time the siblings have written and produced music together in eight years, work on the LP began in 2019 and largely took place at a Stockholm studio the pair built. Guest appearances include Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, Vessel, Nídia, and Johannes Berglund, as well as Peder Mannerfelt and Pär Grindvik's joint project, Aasthma.

”I tried to tune in as much as possible to Fever Ray vibes and tried many different styles, or clothes as I usually say when I talk about different music production suggestions. But in the end we took out the same synthesizer, the SH101, used for The Knife track, ‘The Captain’, and it just worked," said Olof.

The song is accompanied by a video from Martin Falck, who his known for confrontational aesthetics and has a long-standing relationship with both Dreijers. The clip pays homage to the renowned visuals made by director Johan Renck for The Knife's single, 'Pass This On'.

Following the release, Fever Ray will embark on a lengthy tour, taking them from Scandinavia to central Europe, the US and UK. You can see the full list of dates announced below. Tickets are on sale now.
