First came the fake Fabric in China, now meet the Brazilian Berghain

First the international dance music community took notice of China’s fake Fabric. Now, we are receiving word of a Brazilian Berghain imposter.

Unlike the Fabric rip-off, the Berghain name share appears more innocent. Called Berghain Cervejaria in full, the location is a craft beer bar in the city of Timbó, Brazil. According to reports, this particular region of Brazil has German roots due to 19th Century Hamburg immigrants. That offers some insights into how the established acquired the unique name in the Portuguese-speaking nation.

Unfortunately for the late-night beer drinking crowd, this Berghain closes up shop nightly at 10pm.
