Fixate channels classic dubstep on remix of Doctor Jeep's 'Laff Trak': Premiere

Dropping 27th June via Aufect Recordings...

Fixate is back with another slice of half-time gold, this time remixing Doctor Jeep's 'Laff Trak' for Aufect Recordings, the label headed up by Canadian duo Greazus.

Taken from the new 'Jawbreaker' EP by Doctor Jeep, 'Laff Trak' is a moody, minimalist march, but in the hands of London's Fixate it becomes a homage to Skream, Benga and the like, drawing on the quickfire wobbing bass of late noughties dubstep.

A fully fledged member of the Exit Records crew, and a part of the Richie Brains collective project released via the label last year, Fixate was named as one of DJ Mag's Ones To Watch in 2017 — and once you've given his 'Laff Trak' rework a listen, we're sure you'll see why.

Pick up a copy from 26th June over on the Aufect Recordings Bandcamp.
