FLIGHT FACILITIES LEAD THE CHARGE AGAINST SYDNEY'S LOCKOUT IN NEW STATEMENT

Support #KeepSydneyOpen

Yesterday, much-loved Australian DJ duo Flight Facilities took to Facebook to express their frustration at New South Wales' much-opposed lockout laws.

The laws, that were introduced in February 2014 following two alcohol-related deaths in Sydney's CBD, prevent entry into nightclubs and bars after 1:30am with all venues forced to shut completely by 3am. The New South Wales Government also revealed this week that the ban on new pub and club licences in Kings Cross and Sydney's CBD would be extended until February 2017 — signalling the potential nail in the coffin for Sydney's already dwindling nightlife.
