Flying Lotus reveals he has a new album on the way

It will be the producer’s first full-length since 2014...

Flying Lotus has teased that he has a new album due soon.

Marking his 35th birthday, with an Instagram post featuring a handwritten note, the producer thanked fans, friends and family for supporting him over the years. 

Signing off the note, the Brainfeeder label head added “P.S. Album being mastered tomorrow.” You can check the full post below.

It will be his first album since 2014’s ‘You’re Dead’. Ahead of the new album’s release, his Brainfeeder label will mark 10-year anniversary with a compilation titled ‘Brainfeeder X’. Due out on November 16, it will feature music from Ross From Friends, Thundercat, BADBADNOTGOOD, Flying Lotus himself and more.

In the years since his last album, Flying Lotus has kept busy directing the body horror comedy Kuso which was released last year. 

The producer also last year soundtracked ‘Blade Runner Black Out 2022’, a short film released ahead of the blockbuster ‘Blade Runner 2049’.
