FOOTAGE FROM DEADMAU5’S FIRST GIG WITH HIS FAMOUS HELMET REVEALED: WATCH

Deadmau5 confirms that the clip of a video from one his earliest shows – tweeted by Twitter user Teeroy666 – was his first set with the mouse head helmet.

The snippet begins with a glimpse of a red deadmau5 helmet with illuminating eyeballs. The 2008 video then showcases deadmau5 behind a small mixer in a club that is significantly smaller than the venues and festivals he performs at today.

Last Thursday marked deadmau5’s first show of his new BBC Radio 1 residency.

Next month, deadmau5 will release his ‘Stuff I Used To Do’ album that’s chock full of remastered tracks ranging from the years 1998 to 2007.
