Four Tet has dropped his remix of Chloé Robinson and DJ ADHD’s recent single, ‘Pax’. Listen below.
The remix is described in a press release as "a tour through UK club culture", taking the original's "frantic, mechanised 909 drums, and crafting a more shifting, garage-esque rhythm - taking cues from an instrumental grime classic 'Pulse X' in the process".
'Pax', which was originally released earlier this month, is featured on Chloé Robinson and DJ ADHD’s debut collaborative EP, ‘Steamin’’, which is out now on Robinson's own Pretty Weird imprint and offers "a diverse take on the analog techno sound". The vinyl exclusive of the three-track EP features a fourth track, 'Red Bull'.
In recent years, Robinson has built up a reputation for high-energy sets packed full of grime and garage that also stay faithful to the techno sound while DJ ADHD is also known as an energetic, techno-adjacent selector. Check out the remix and listen to the EP below.
