FOUR TET PLANS TO TURN LONDON'S TROCADERO INTO UK BERGHAIN

Four Tet has put out a call to help him buy derelict venue the Trocadero to relaunch it as a London version of Berlin's Berghain nightclub.

The producer's idea follows the sad news yesterday that Dalston venue Dance Tunnel will close in August — the latest in a long line of club closures across the capital.

“If you have nuff money and want to help please get in touch,” Four Tet said via Twitter, claiming the space would replicate the sound of Berghain, “but I'd let anyone in and you could bubble to ukg or play jazz or whatever... london vibe.”

Situated in Piccadilly Circus, the venue has been out of action since 2014, although its currently undergoing a transformation into a big budget hotel.

With this in mind, it seems unlikely Four Tet's plan will see the light of day, but with the hashtag, who knows what could happen?
