The non-profit organistation Future Female Sounds has launched a free DJ workshop programme in Palestine.

Helmed by Mexico City-based DJ and Refugee Chronicles creator Nour and taking place at Sabreen Association for Artistic Development in Jerusalem, the workshops will offer its eight participants the chance to pick up essential skills.

Founded in Copenhagen, the core mission of Future Female Sounds is "to make DJing accessible to girls, women, and gender expansive people globally - especially to groups who are marginalized for different reasons", they write on Instagram.

The workshop programme is entirely self-funded and run by volunteers. Find out more about the fundraising campaign here. You can find out more about Future Female Sounds here.
