Gaika will headline Roundhouse Rising Festival 2019 with a ten-piece ensemble.
South London's rising star of dancehall-experimental beats, who dropped a startlingly fresh mixtape in May and played MUTEK San Francisco the same month, will be joined on stage by live musicians led by composer Jason Yarde.
Other acts confirmed for the event, which runs 15th - 29th October, include UK grime MC Big Zuu, electro dons Colossal Squid and Swedish avant-garde pop sensation Eva-Lina, who performs in collaboration with pro-gender equality female collective The F Word. Æ MAK, Princess Kemz and Stealing Sheep are also set to play.
The 15-day showcase will host the launch of a new 'Rising Sounds' album, featuring ten promising musical names aged 18-25. Each was paired with a professional producer for a week, during which time they recorded their contribution to the compilation.
