GLASTONBURY’S SHANGRI-LA ANNOUNCES NEW UK FESTIVAL, GRINAGOG

The company behind Glastonbury's Shangri-La has announced a new UK festival, Grinagog, which is set run in Torquay, Devon, from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th April 2017.
Continental Drifts, the events company behind Glastonbury's Shangri-La area, was founded by Chris Tofu, who told RA the location "is like the ultimate festival venue".
The only confirmed acts so far are Akala, Slamboreee, Jah Shaka Soundsystem and Steve Davis, but Grinagog is set to feature 15 stages and over 200 acts across various venues.
Tofu added that Continental Drifts will be "putting everything I can into making an extremely diverse, cultural offering for young people in Torquay."
Glastonbury revealed that they plan to host an event away from its current Worthy Farm site in either 2018 or 2019 in May, with founder Michael Eavis later revealing plans to take the event to Wiltshire’s Longleat estate in 2019.
