GLITTERBOX PREPARES FOR A SUMMER OF DISCO

It’s taken a while for disco to get it stripes on the underground circuit in Ibiza and further afield – but since Glitterbox started hosting disco-leaning nights every Friday at Space Ibiza, the White Isle has fully embraced the sounds of the balearic once again.

This year’s season looks set to be biggest yet with 16 weeks of house and disco for the final year of Space Ibiza every Friday night on the terrace.

But before Glitterbox heads to Ibiza there’s the small matter of a Glitterbox album, mixed by Defected’s founder Simon Dunmore, and a 5-day jaunt at Defected Croatia.

Helping to launch the compilation there will be launch party at Ministry Of Sound, London with Basement Jaxx, The Shapeshifters, Aeroplane and John Morales on May 7th.

September 23rd will see Glitterbox’s closing party at Space in Ibiza, drawing the summer season to a close, where you can expect some more additions to the existing line-up as Glitterbox set out on their busiest and boldest year to date.
