Best-known for hosting epic pre-parties before some of the island’s biggest club-nights, Tantra is far more than just a bar. The well-known venue, that sits just a short walk from Space in the heart of Bossa, is also the home of a wicked radio station, with each of the shows broadcast and recorded on-site.
The compact studio sits at the back of the venue, behind the pumping dancefloor and bar areas, and is often filled with some of the island’s biggest resident DJs.
Flying the UK flag on the White Isle, Ibiza White FM is the island’s dedicated english speaking radio station making collaborations with London’s Flex FM and Barcelona’s City FM (Barcelona’s dedicated english speaking radio) syndicating Ibiza White FM’s flagship shows and live radio events from Bora Bora, Coco Beach, Itaca and other destinations across the island — listeners can tune in daily on 103.7 FM in Ibiza from the island.
There’s dozen of wicked shows to enjoy on the station — you can stream everything exclusively through their website — including programmes like KDT, which focuses on downtempo soul and jazz, or Sound Of The Shores, which spins strictly Balearic beats. There’s also weekly shows from Chris Liebing and the HYTE crew,and trance kings Aly & Fila.
There's also streams from pre-parties with Cocoon, Bob Sinclar, Hot Since 82, Maceo Plex and Hot Since 82, plus Steve Lawler's ViVa Warriors which you can listen to live and direct from the island each week.
This year, the final fiesta at Tantra is going to be one of the most talked about soirees to end the season, with a grand outdoor charity event planned for the middle of October. Similar to the previous two years, Tantra will host the final party as a thank-you to all to the clubbers and people of the island for the support of the summer.
