HEAR CAUSE & AFFECT DROP HOUSE BOMBS IN HIS 25 YEARS OF DJ MAG MIX

Birmingham favourite kicks off the week...

Cause & Affect brought fire to the booth at our 25 Years of DJ Mag party at The Rainbow Venues last month, so much so in fact, we asked for another helping to share with you!

Kane — the man behind the moniker — has had a massive year, tearing up dancefloors from the word go. His breakbeat busting ‘Warfare’ collaboration with Taiki Nulight and LO’99 dropped in February for AC Slater’s Night Bass label; then in May he scored a double whammy, collaborating with Punks honchos Stanton Warriors on booty house banger ‘Bounce’ and ploughing full throttle through Beatport’s main chart to hit number 20 with his stomping effort ‘The Herd’ for This Ain’t Bristol.

Growing up in Birmingham on a diet of bassline, his DJing has always maintained a darker edge, packing low-end punch aplenty yet still offering something for any house-head. Our 25 Years of DJ Mag gig was only the second time Kane had played to a home crowd in 2016 following time spent touring the US. Up against garage legends DJ EZ and the Dreem Teem, breakbeat dons Stanton Warriors and jungle veteran Randall, he pulled out all the stops and has done so yet again for this special mix.
