Hï Ibiza announces Armin van Buuren as Wednesday resident
Trance legend joins stellar roster...
Hï Ibiza — the new club taking over from Space Ibiza — has announced its Wednesday night resident will be none other than Dutch trance veteran, Armin van Buuren.
The five-time Top 100 DJs poll winner has been a regular face on the White Isle throughout his illustrious career. Now he helps mark the opening season of Hï Ibiza with a 13 week run of parties titled U R, taking place every Wednesday from 21st June to 13th September.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my new concept U R to Hï Ibiza this summer," says Armin via press release. "Ibiza is my favourite place in the world and I'm super excited to build a completely new home for myself. After being a resident for more than 12 years, it feels great to have this new challenge in a brand new club!”
Armin joins an impressive list of residents at the new venue, which currently features South African star Black Coffee, current world's number one DJ Martin Garrix, progressive house star Eric Prydz, and disco/house party Glitterbox.
Hï Ibiza opens on Sunday 28th May with Black Coffee, Luciano and an extended set by Apollonia, alongside a host of other top names. For full details head here.
