INTEC DIGITAL CELEBRATES 100TH RELEASE WITH TWO FRESH CUTS

It's an impressive milestone for the much-loved label...

Techno giants Intec are celebrating their 100th release this week, with a brand-new EP from esteemed co-heads Carl Cox and Jon Rundell.

The much-loved record label famously bowed out on a high way back in '06, only to be reborn in digital form just four years later in 2010.

Joint-boss Rundell has expressed his thanks for the label's ongoing success, saying: “To think that when we started the label up again out the blue some years ago, and that now we sit here having reached the 100th release, is pretty cool. I'd like to thank every single fan of the label that has supported the releases and come to the parties, the clubs we have worked with, the managers and agents for allowing us to work with some of their artists plus all the journalists that have kindly written about us.”

Carl Cox has dedicated Intec’s 100th release to his mum, adding: “This feels like a real landmark for Intec, and is a celebration of all the amazing music that we have put out over the years. This release is dedicated to my Mum who passed this year, so here's to her that brought me into this world. Enjoy this EP.” He adds “These tracks from Jon and I are to say thank you to all the clubbers, radio stations and techno and house music lovers from all over the world that have danced to our beat. Here's to the next 100!”

For the label's 100th release Cox and Rundel have cooked up two exclusive dancefloor gems: John Rundell’s tech house original ‘Utopia’ is a hard-hitting floor-filler, alongside Carl Cox’s catchy tech-groover ‘Your Light Shines On’ — a playful track featuring Balearic beats and melodic steel drums.

It's out now exclusively via Beatport and will be available everywhere else in two weeks time.
