IT TURNS OUT YOU’VE PROBABLY BEEN PRONOUNCING PAUL VAN DYK WRONG

A German blog’s video suggests people are pronouncing some of the world’s biggest DJ names incorrectly...

There is a raft of names in dance music that cause many to pause before saying them for fear of mispronunciation, and resultantly looking like a massive loser.

But now German blog Mit Vergnügen has created a video to suggest people are pronouncing even some of the world’s biggest DJ names incorrectly.

There are 21 artists in the tutorial, including Paul van Dyk, Ben Klock, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Ellen Allien, Modeselektor, Ricardo Villalobos, Oliver Koletzki, Phonique and Norman Nodge.

Watch the video below to brush up on your skills before hitting the dancefloor at the weekend, just don’t blame us if they’re not quite right...
