Josey Rebelle wins Essential Mix Of The Year 2019: Listen

Josey Rebelle has won the award for BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix Of The Year.
The London-based DJ's mix originally aired in February this year, and featured tracks from the likes of Afrodeutsche, Cooly G, Mike Dunn, and LSDXOXO.
Rebelle's win follows on from Coconut Beats boss HAAi, who scooped the award in 2018.
It's been a huge year for the R1 Essential Mix, with DJ Stingray contributing to the series back in March, and Lunice and Hudson Mohawke reunited this year as TNGHT for a mix in October.
