Joy Orbison announces new EP, 'Slipping': Listen

It lands on 18th October via his Hinge Finger imprint

Joy Orbison will release a new six-track EP, 'Slipping', on Friday 18th October.

'Slipping' will be released via Hinge Finger, the label that Peter O'Grady, aka Joy O, runs with Will Bankhead. Listen to 'Burn', which features Infinite and Mansur Brown, below:

The two collaborators on this lead track also feature on two other tracks on the release, with South London's Keyah/Blu contributing to another cut on the record.

In the announcement for the release, O'Grady says:

"This one was a bit of a transitional record for me, personally and musically. It paints quite a vivid picture in my head that I hope you'll enjoy, summer in my studio with two of London's finest, Mansur Brown and Keyah/Blue and a snapshot of winter in New York with Infinite. Oh and a bit of autumn with dad too!"

The cover art features O'Grady's grandma taken in London in the 70s doing, in his words, three of her favourite things; "sunbathing, smoking and a glass of something."
